After upsetting sellers by increasing listing fees, Australian eBay users once again got frustrated with its new policy that no ohter payment services can be used except PayPal.

eBay Australia Bans All Payment Methods Except PayPal:

eBay is requiring that users in Australia use its PayPal payment service on all transactions. Aside from transactions in which the buyer picks up items in person and cash-on-delivery, no other payment method will be permitted, and eBay is banning sellers from using their own merchant credit card accounts if they have them. eBay said it is making the changes “to make buying on eBay.com.au even safer and selling more reliable.”

According to the new policy, all items listed for sale on eBay.com.au on or after May 21, 2008, must offer PayPal as one of the payment methods. Beginning June17, all items appearing on eBay.com.au must be paid for using PayPal or pay on pick up. Visa and MasterCard are accepted only when processed through PayPal.

10% listing fee plus 2.4% PayPal fees, this act upset both sellers and buyers.

Rubik’s Cube which is also known as Magic Cube was invented by Ernő Rubik, who was a Hungarian scuptor and professor of architecture. Rubik’s Cube is a mechanical puzzle with each face has nine stickers with one of the six solid colours. To solve the puzzle, all cubes must be twisted until each face is a solid colour.

Rubik\'s Cube Alarm ClockWhen Cube Is Still A Cube, But Not A Rubik’s Cube

Rubik’s Cube is about solving puzzle, while this Cube Clock is about telling yourself time, temperature, alarm or date.  What you do is still twist the cube, but it’s the top part only.  Then the display of the cube will show you different information you need.

The Alarm System Is Not So Perfect

The the alarms shoot off, and you can turn it off with just a twist.  After that you’ll go back to your bed again.  This alarm won’t help you to get up.  I suggested that the cube clock can be improved by making it harder to switch off the alarm, for example, they got to solve the Rubik’s cube puzzle to turn it off.

Price

A 3″ square plastic Cube Clock costs $24.95.  It requires one AA battery.  If you’re interested in this cool cube clock, you can buy it from What On Earth.
