
A complete ritual set which belonged to Sarmatian Tribal Ruler of Persian descent that lived 1 Century BC – 2 Century BC is available for bidding in eBay. The set includes ritual Gold Pectoral Necklace and Gold Pectoral Amulet, and they are part of Taoikins Museum Collection.
The 2000 years old rare gold necklace is still in good condition and decorated with ornaments, dotted pattern triangles, and carnelian (cornelian) stones. There is one bird at each end of the necklace and they are proofs that the necklace is made under Post-Sumerian and Egyptian culture (1500 – 100 B.C.). The gold necklace was worn on the chest to display status of power and wealth. The size of necklace is 28 x 15 cm.
There are five Cornelian stones on the Gold Pectoral Amulet, but top left corner and on the central cornelian stone have slight damage. The Amulet was carefully preserved by experts from National Restoration Center of Lithuania (European Union). The size of amulet is 8 x 5 cm.
