Since 2008, I have been giving out microloans through Kiva to help the entrepeneurs around the world.  I have been contributing part of my online income to Kiva and I have made 23 loans up to date.  The amount might not be much but I believe every $25 I lend out, it will helps a family from poverty, hence helps the local society.  While I see many people buy things online, why not take a little bit of your money and sponsor to those who needs it more.

Graciela Judith Miranda Vegara from Guayaquil (Paraiso), Ecuador is looking for a financing of $1,200 for her retail business.  Graciela is a 33 years old married woman.  She opened a general store in Paraíso from 7am until 7pm every day to support her family and ease the burden of her husband.  Graciela faced a lot of competition in retail business.  She needs the money to buy rice, sugar and oil for stocking to cater for more customers.  The field partner for this loan is Fundacion D-MIRO Mision Alianza and the repayment term is 18 months.
