If you are thinking of having one unique guitar pick, why not make it yourself?  Too difficult and you do not have a tool?  Now tool is not an excuse.  With the DIY Guitar Pick Punch, you can easily turn almost anything up to 0.9mm thick into a guitar pick similar to a standard 351 style pick.  The punch can make guitar pick from expired credit cards, club cards, membership cards, and plastic packaging material.  The final guitar pick measures 30mm x 25.5mm, and the punch measures approximately 6″ x 1.25″ x 4.25″.

I was fascinated with Gakken Mini Electric Guitar.  Due to MakerSHED.com does not ship the item to Malaysia, I had no choice but source for other channel to purchase the mini electric guitar.  I came across several websites that sell the device, but I decided to buy it from VeryCoolThings.com.

My experience with VeryCoolThings.com is that it takes a very long time to receive the item.  I placed my order and made payment ($59.99) through PayPal on Sept 28.  Then the owner of the site only contacted me after some time and I paid the shipment fees of $35 on Oct 11.  The item was only shipped on Nov 3 and I received it within 12 days from shipment as promised.  It took one and a half month to receive the item.  However the good side is that the owner do keep me updated with the latest status which does not make me think that I got cheated.

The Mini Electric Guitar is actually a mini self-built gadget from a Japanese magazine, Gakken Otona no Kagaku Magazine Vol. 26.  The instructions are in Japanese but illustrations are easy to understand for building the guitar.  Due to my fat fingers, it took me almost two hours to assemble the electronic guitar, and it sounds so awesome and cool.
