Last night when I walked to the kitchen and switched on the light, I saw three cockroaches roaming around wildly.  I stamped the floor loudly and all cockroaches hid themselves.  I took note on their escape route.  Later I set up a new cockroach trap, and added some bread on top of the provided bait.  When I woke up in the morning, the first thing I did was check out the cockroach trap, and I saw three fat disgusting American cockroaches in the trap.

It is important that you try different types of roach trap to find out which one works the best for the roaches in your house.  Dial 18CT Combat Roach Bait is a long-lasting trap that can last up to 12 months.  I have yet to leave the trap in the house for 1 year because I will throw the trap away once I felt the cockroaches inside it give me a disgusted feeling.  There are 18 traps per box, and the baits contain 0.03% fipronil that disrupts cockroaches’ central nervous system.

It is not easy to deal with cockroaches infestation.  Different methods must be applied at the same time to get rid of them, but might not be once and for all.  Raid Roach Trap and Egg Stop has baits which contain Abamectin that is lethal to roaches.  The trap can last up to three months.

Sharing my personal experience here, Raid Roach Trap is not the most effective trap but it is effective to certain cockroaches.  By adding your own food, especially bread, as a bait to the trap will enhance the effectiveness of the trap.  I suggest you to put the trap at darker and damper locations, such as bathroom or kitchen.  Other than the trap, please keep your house clean and dry.
